Bermuda Chamber’s Budget Breakfast On May 5
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is set to host its annual PwC-sponsored Budget Breakfast on May 5, following the Government’s Budget Statement.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that its annual Budget Breakfast, sponsored by PwC Bermuda, takes place Monday, 5th May 2025, at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
“This annual event provides the business community with a timely and comprehensive review of the Bermuda Government’s Budget Statement, which is scheduled to be delivered this Friday, 2 May 2025.
“Attendees will gain valuable insight into the fiscal priorities, policy directions, and economic implications shaping the year ahead.”
“We are delighted to once again welcome PwC Bermuda as our 2025 Budget Breakfast sponsor,” said Jennifer Woods, CEO of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce. “PwC’s continued support underscores their commitment to informed public discourse and responsible economic stewardship in Bermuda.”
Arthur Wightman, Territory Leader, PwC Bermuda said, “PwC is proud to once again support the Chamber of Commerce Budget Breakfast—an essential platform for engaging the government and business community in meaningful dialogue about the fiscal direction of our economy. As Bermuda businesses deal with everything from tariff uncertainty, to rapid technological change and other global megatrends, our latest research shows sector lines are blurring, with nearly 40% of CEOs entering new industries. And, alarmingly, four in ten believe their businesses won’t be viable in a decade without transformation. Events like the annual budget discussion are critical for helping business leaders navigate what’s next.”
The spokesperson said, “The event will feature Premier and Minister of Finance, David Burt, and a moderated Q&A session by Arthur Wightman, Territory Leader, PwC Bermuda.
