Coronavirus Greece – 15,869 cases, 14 deaths, 95 intubated

Among the intubated patients, 36 (37.89%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 59 (62.11%) are fully vaccinated

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Greece recorded in the last 24 hours were 15,869. The total number of people who fell ill amounts to 3,692,371 (daily change +0.4%), of which 48.6% are men.

The number of possible new reinfections recorded in the last 24 hours was 3,127 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 174,551 (4.5% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 14, while a total of 30,250 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the epidemic. 1 95.7% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of intubated patients is 95 (60.0% men). Their median age is 69 years. 91.6% have underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older. Among the intubated patients, 36 (37.89%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 59 (62.11%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,734 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
