BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — The father of the baby girl who died of fentanyl exposure was arraigned in Belmont County on Friday.

38-year-old Cameron Cothran is charged with involuntary manslaughter, evidence tampering, and possession of a federally-regulated compound.

The public defender entered not-guilty pleas to all counts on Cothran’s behalf.

At the prosecutor’s urging, Cothran’s bond was increased from $50,000 to $100,000 dollars.

His trial is set for June 25.

Cothran took the baby to East Ohio Regional Hospital last Wednesday, dropped her off, and left.

She was life-flighted to a Pittsburgh hospital, where she died on Sunday.
